About Studio STH

Studio STH is an Australian architecture and interior design practice dedicated to creating environments that enhance lives and strengthen communities.

For nearly five decades, we have delivered forward-thinking, people-centred architecture. While healthcare remains at the heart of our work, our expertise extends to education, research, science, aged care, and institutional projects.

We design at all scales, from local community hubs to complex international healthcare facilities, ensuring every project is purposeful, efficient, and impactful.

The Opportunity

We’re looking for students and graduates of architecture to join our teams across our studios in Adelaide, Brisbane, Melbourne and Sydney.

We have some vacancies for an immediate start, but we’re also looking to connect with strong candidates for future positions as new projects commence.

You’ll work as part of a studio team, contributing to live projects at different stages. The work will vary, but typically includes a mix of design, documentation and coordination.

Over time, you’ll gain exposure to a range of projects and develop your experience across a range of projects of different scale.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Contributing to design development and project work
  • Revit modelling and documentation
  • Supporting coordination with consultants and project teams
  • Applying codes, standards and project requirements
  • Participating in team discussions, workshops and presentations

About You
We’re open to students and early-career graduates who:
  • Are studying or recently completed a Master of Architecture
  • Are comfortable working in Revit (or developing proficiency)
  • Are thoughtful and detail-oriented in their approach
  • Have a genuine interest in design and its impact on people and communities
  • Are clear and collaborative in how they communicate

Experience in healthcare or similar projects is helpful, but not essential.

Why Studio STH

You’ll be working as part of a collaborative studio team, contributing to projects that are often complex and people-focused. From early on, you’ll be involved in live projects and build experience across a range of building types, scales and stages.

Applying

If you’d like to join us apply with a cover letter, your CV and portfolio (if you have one).

Please note: while we have some immediate opportunities, we’re also building a pipeline of candidates for upcoming roles over the coming months.

We are always looking for talented, passionate individuals to join our team. While no positions are currently available, we welcome expressions of interest from those who share our vision for thoughtful, people-first design. You can send us your resume to careers@studiosth.com.au and we’ll consider you for any future vacancies. Please also include a short cover letter telling us about yourself, your relevant experience and why you would like to work with us.

At Studio STH we really value the spontaneous collaboration, support and exchange of ideas that happens when we are together in-person. Although we continue to support a balance of home and in-studio working, we are not able to consider applicants seeking 100% remote work.

We prefer to engage with candidates directly but we do occasionally use agencies for some of our recruitment needs. If you are from an agency and would like to work with us, feel free to send an introductory email to the address above. However we ask that you don’t send us unsolicited resumes.
